Turn off your cell phone.
Act like ladies and gentlemen.
Decide what your call will be BEFORE reaching for the bid box.
No dithering.
Think ahead.
Keep your cards so others can’t see them.
Don’t ask about a specific call when you are in the pass-out seat.
No Coffeehousing.
Don’t lecture.
Don’t give lessons, unless asked.
Speak softly.
Don’t comment when tabling dummy.
Say “Thank you” when dummy is tabled.
Play in tempo.
COUNT.
Call the director promptly.
Discuss hands after the game is over, or when you’re away from the table.
Bridge is a timed event. Save the detailed social queries until AFTER you’ve finished the round.
